Fruit: 43% Merlot 33% Cabernet Sauvignon, 13% Malbec, 11% Cabernet Franc.
100% Single Estate Grown, Peet Family Vineyard, Bridge Pa Triangle, Hawke’s Bay.
Vineyard: The Peet Family Vineyard is an 6 ha vineyard in the Bridge Pa Triangle.
Winemaking: Individual batches of grapes were hand harvested. They were crushed/destemmed into small open top fermenters, and inoculated with selected yeasts. The ferments were gently plunged three times a day during fermentation. The wines were pressed off, blended and moved to Oak barriques for approx 12 months for ageing, the wine was aged on a combination of French and American oak.

Sensory Evaluation:
Colour: Deep, opaque ruby red.
Aroma: Dark red cherries, tobacco and subtle oak.
Palate: Rich blackcurrant fruit, toast and notes of cassis, with refined tannin structure.
Cellaring: This wine is ready for drinking now, and will cellar 5 to 10 years.
Food Matches: Match with rich red meat dishes.
