Fruit: 98% Syrah 2% Vigionier, 100% SIngle Estate Grown, Cardoness Vineyard, Bridge Pa Triangle, Hawke’s Bay.
Vineyard: Cardoness is an 13 ha vineyard in the Bridge Pa Triangle.
Winemaking: This single vineyard Syrah was partially whole berry fermented for maximum flavour and colour extraction, and gently hand plunged three times a day. The wine was bottled after 10 months in French oak barrels.

Sensory Evaluation:
Colour: Deep, and vibrant, dark ruby with a purple hue.
Aroma: Lifted and fragrant, with classic floral notes. Intense aromas of fresh, dark plums and voilets.
Palate: Intense flavours of blackberries, violets and pepper, smooth tannins and a lingering finish.
Cellaring: This wine is ready for drinking now, and will cellar 5 to 8 years.
Food Matches: This wine perfectly matches lamb, venison and game.
