Colour: Dark, opaque ruby red.
Aroma: Dark red cherries, tobacco and subtle oak.
Palate: Rich blackcurrent fruit, toast and notes of cassis, with refined tannin structure.
Harvested on –
Winemaking – Individual batches of grapes were hand harvested separately. They were de-stemmed into small open top fermenters, and inoculated with selected yeasts. The ferments were gently plunged 3 times a day during fermentation. The wines were pressed off and moved to French and American oak barriques and aged for a year.
